Lucian Spinciu

Born on December the 13th 1962 in Ramnicu Valcea.

Graduate of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, class of 1962; final degree project „Vehicles Design and Construction” in 1993.

Graduate of the Ramnicu Valcea Art School – professor Camelia Văduva Clavac’s canto class, 1999.

Since 1995, he has been working with the Philarmonic “Ion Dumitrescu” in Ramnicu Valcea.

Artistic activity:

• The Festival -Contest „The Spring of Balads” – 1984
• The Festival of Student Art and Creation – 1986
• „Rosea Dea Rimburg-Um-anima-n do” „The Rosy Goddess animates this city” – Ramnicu Valcea(1994)
• The Festival of Medieval Art in Sighisoara (1999)
• The Program „Art on the way to the museum” (Eclipsa 1999)
• The Christian Festival -Targoviste (2001)
• The Festival of Medieval Art in Sighisoara where he teamed up with Georgiana Gherghisan ”Two o’clock” (2003).

In 1995 he provided the conception and the organization of the music-show “Blues and Jazz”, performed for the first time in Ramnicu Valcea by Harry Tavitian. He performs in clubs since 1998. Recordings with Radio Delta and Radio France International, both solo and with Georgiana Gherghisan, Bucharest (1991). Radio Valcea I with Ionut Gavrila and Kiddy Gabriela Gavrila, to whom there is dedicated the song Studio “PMP”-Pocorski Music Production Bucharest (1994).

He won: “Mention I” for the authorship work and interpretation at the Festival – Contest “The spring of Ballads” Bucharesti (1984), first prize for authorship work and interpretation at the Festival of Student Art and Creation (1986).
